Managing Director – CEO
Born in 17 June 1980 Istanbul. Graduated with BSc (Hons) Shipping Operations degree from Solent University of Southampton in 2001. Thereafter, joined to Cass Business School and graduated with MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance in 2002. Between 2003 and 2004 he served to Turkish Navy as a reserve officer with Lieutenant rank. In October 2004 he started working for his Family Business and took responsibility in different divisions within the Company. Since 2014 he is the Managing Director of Devbulk Shipmanagement. He is a Board Member to International Chamber of shipping, member to the Turkish Chamber of Shipping and to Turkish Shipowner’s Association and member and strong supporter of Fenerbahce Sports Club as well as 1907 Association.
Managing Director – COO
Born in 1983 Istanbul. Graduated with BSc (Hons) Maritime Business degree from Solent University of Southampton in 2004. Thereafter, joined to Cass Business School and graduated with MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance in 2005. In 2006 he attended the UK P&I Club Thomas Miller New Jersey office as a trainee and continued his internship on-board oceangoing vessels. Between 2006 and 2007 he served in Turkish Army Infantry Division with a Lieutenant rank. In September 2007 he started working in family shipping business. Since 2014 he is the Managing Director of Devbulk Shipmanagement.
DPA/A.CSO – Safety Quality Manager
Born in 10 July 1977 in Istanbul. Graduated from Kocaeli University Karamursel Maritime College in 1999. He worked at sea for 6 years as a deck officer and 10 years as a Master position on several types of ships. He worked as DPA/CSO, Deputy Operation Manager, and Marine superintendent duty between 2014 and 2021. In 2021 he joined Devbulk as DPA/ACSO Safety Quality Manager. He is married with a daughter.
CSO / ADPA – Safety & Quality Deputy Manager
Born in July 1987 in Istanbul. Graduated from Istanbul Ortakoy Maritime High School in 2005 and Kocaeli University Karamursel Maritime College in 2007. He worked at sea for about 12 years as a Deck and Chief Officer on several types of ships. Thereafter, he worked as Marine Surveyor and Marine Consultant duty between 2018 and 2021. In 2021 he joined Devbulk as CSO / ADPA / Safety & Quality Deputy Manager. He is married with a son.
Operations Manager
Born in 19 October 1978 in Istanbul. Graduated from Kocaeli University Karamursel Maritime College in 1999. Thereafter, he started to serve on dry cargo vessels as Navigation Officer and Chief Officer untill 2007. Between 2007 and 2008 he took a break his sea life and decided to continue his career at Richards Bay, South Africa working as a Marine Surveyor and Marine Consultant. In 2008 he resumed to serve on dry cargo vessels as Master Mariner and worked till 2015 on different size dry cargo vessels. In April 2015, he joined Deval where he has majority of his sea service. Koray is Operations Manager at Devbulk and married with a daughter.
Deputy Operations Manager
Born in 6 Feb. 1987 in Beyoglu . Graduated from Ekol Maritime College ( Department of Deck ) in 2009 and Anadolu University ( Department of Business )in 2021. Thereafter, started to serve on dry cargo vessels as Navigation Officer, Chief Officer , Master between 2009 – 2021 . In June 2021, has joined Devbulk Company as Deputy Operation Manager. Married and have one son.
Chartering Manager
Born in 9th February 1960 in Canakkale. Graduated from Merchant Marine Academy – Istanbul in 1981. Thereafter, immediately joined to Turkish Forces Command as a reserve officer (second Lieutenant) rank for the duration of 16 months. Spend almost 11 years mostly on Dry Cargo Vessels as an Officer and Captain. In October 1993 he started working at Bumerang Chartering as a dry cargo shipbroker. Thereafter, in October 1994 he joined to Levent Shipping the then chartering branch of Deval as chartering manager. Since 1994 still serving in the same field within Deval Group Istanbul. He is married with a daughter.
Chartering Manager
Born in 1985 Rize. Graduated from Near East University, departmen of Deck – North Cyprus in 2009. He has worked as 2nd Officer on boards after graduation under group of Deval Companies and further Chief Officer. After serving on vessels for about four years, he then decided to take further education and studied Master’s Degree, MSc Shipping and Logistics at Solent University, UK, in 2013/14. After graduation, he returned to Istanbul in January 2015 and he has worked as Chartering and Operations Manager in Deval Group of companies and joined in Devbulk in January 2021 as Chartering Manager.
Senior Trader – Devbulk London
Based in Devbulk’s new London office, David has 20 years experience in Energy and Dry Bulks Markets, dealing across physical and financial products. Graduating in 2000 from Sheffield Hallam University David joined the graduate scheme at EDF Group in London before moving on to the coal sourcing desk. He specialized in trading coal futures and then moved to Peabody Coaltrade in 2007, first in London and then from 2010 to 2015 in Singapore. Trading both physical and financial coal and freight. For the last 6 years he has been head of a broking desk at Freight Investor Services in London until moving to Devbulk in 2023. David is married and lives in South West London.
Human Resources Manager
Born in Istanbul in 1978. Graduated from the deck class at Karamursel Maritime High School in Kocaeli University in 1997. He worked at sea for 9 years as deck officer and 7 years as Master position on several type of ships. He worked as marine superintendent duty between 2014 and 2016. In 2016 he joined Devbulk as Human Resources Manager. He is married with a daughter.
Deputy Human Resources Manager
Born in June 1985 in Balıkesir. Graduated from Gelibolu Armatör Yakup Aksoy anatolian maritime vocational high school in 2003 and Uludağ University Yalova maritime college in 2005. He worked at sea for about 8 years as a Deck officer on several types of ships. He joined Devbulk as deputy Human Resources Manager on February 1st, 2014. He is married with a daughter.
Financial Manager
Born in February 1975 in Istanbul. Graduated with BSc degree Economist from Yıldız Technical University in 1997. He also graduated with Master in Business Administration from YTU in 2007.
He worked as an senior accountant, business/financial controller and budget and reporting manager in the leader companies in Turkish Shipping Industry over than 15 years. In July 2017 he joined Devbulk Team as Finance Manager. He has also SMMM (CPA) and CRMA certificate. He is member of ISMMMO and TIDE.
Technical Coordinator
Graduated from K.T.U. Rize Technical College. Worked at sea from 1990 to 2005 as Eng. Officer, 1st. Engineer and Chief Engineer at several type and size vessels. From 2005 to 2012 continue Technical Superintendent. From 2012 to 2017 turnbacked again to sealife as Chief Engineer. He is married and has a son.
Technical Manager-Fleet- A
Born in 27 september 1977 Kilis. In 1999, he graduated from Yildiz Technical University, faculty of engineering / Department of Ship machinery and shipbuilding. Thereafter, he started to serve as eng.officer, 1st engineer and chief engineer at several type of bulk carrier and cape size vessels until 2012. From 2012 to 2021 continue Technical Superintendent, joined in Devbulk in november 2021 as technical Deputy manager. He is married.
Technical Manager-Fleet -B
Born in Istanbul in 1982, Mr. Okan Bayrak completed his Master of Science in Maritime Transportation Engineering Management at ITU Maritime Faculty in 2018. He has accrued 12 years of sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer, serving on various types of vessels. Subsequently, he transitioned to shore-based roles, amassing a decade of experience in various capacities including Designated Person Ashore (DPA), Company Security Officer (CSO), Vetting Superintendent, Cybersecurity Officer, and Technical Superintendent. In 2024, he joined Devbulk as a Technical Manager overseeing Fleet B. He is married and has a daughter.
Purchasing Manager
Born in 1980 Istanbul and graduated from CIU with economics and administrative sciences degree. He worked in Turkish Cargo Lines for more than 10 years as an operation executive, purchasing manager and DPA/CSO. He joined Devbulk in October 2019 as Marine Superintendent. Tugrul is a strong Besiktas SC supporter and a congress member to the club as well. He is married with a son.
Marine Superintendent Fleet A
Born in 1989 in Istanbul. Graduated from Piri Reis Maritime Academy on deck department. He worked at sea for 15 years on several size and types of bulk carriers as Deck Officer, Chief Officer and then qualified as a Captain. During and after his sea service he has studied regarding Business Management, International Relations, Occupational Health and Safety Expertise in different universities. He continued to his carrier in shore based roles as Marine & HSEQ and Training Superintendent. While working as a Superintendent he certified as Designated Person Ashore and Company Security Officer. In 2024, he joined Devbulk team as Marine Superintendent.
Marine Superintendent Fleet B
Born in 1982 İstanbul. Graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Maritime College in 2005. He worked on sea which are several type of vessel from 2005 to 2014 as , deck officer/Chief Officer then qualified as a Master Mariner. He worked as Deputy / Human Resources Manager duty between 2015-2022 , and Marine Superintendent duty between 2022-2024. In july 2024 joined Devbulk as Marine Superintendent. He is married with two son.

Born in 13 August 1979 Istanbul. Graduated from department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) Maritime Faculty in 2001. He worked at sea from 2004 to 2020 as Eng.Officer,1st Engineer and Chief Engineer at several type of ships. In August 2020 he joined Devbulk as Technical Superintendent. He is married with a son.
